Feeling Isolated in Dementia Caregiving? Meet Our "Forget Me Not" Dementia Support Group
Caring for a loved one after a dementia diagnosis can feel incredibly isolating. As cognitive decline begins to impact the people we love most, it’s easy for families and caregivers to feel like they are marooned on an island, navigating unchartered and turbulent waters all by themselves.
If you’ve been feeling this weight, we want you to know you do not have to walk this path alone. At Family Ties Senior Placements, we are dedicated to helping families maintain dignity and enhance the lives of everyone involved in the caregiving journey. That’s why we host our monthly dementia support group, "Forget Me Not"—and our next meeting is tomorrow!
Meeting Details:
📅 When: Tomorrow (The first Wednesday of every month) at 2:30 PM
📍 Where: The Jewish Community Center (JCC)
💜 Who: Family members, friends, and caregivers of those living with dementia.
